Eid Mubarak
A Message of Healing, Unity, and Hope
Akshaya Tattva General Trading LLC • March 2026
السلام عليكم — Peace be upon you.
As the blessed month of Ramadan draws to a close and we welcome Eid Al Fitr, we at Akshaya Tattva extend our warmest wishes to you, your families, and all those you hold dear.
A Time for Reflection
This Ramadan has been a month of profound contemplation for many of us. Across our region and around the world, countless families have faced hardship, uncertainty, and loss. In the quiet moments of fasting and prayer, our thoughts have turned not only inward but outward — to our brothers and sisters near and far who are enduring difficult times.
Yet even in the face of adversity, we have witnessed the enduring strength of the human spirit. We have seen communities come together, neighbours helping neighbours, and strangers extending hands of compassion. This is the essence of what makes our home in the UAE so special — a place where over 200 nationalities live side by side, bound by shared values of respect, tolerance, and mutual care.
The Spirit of Giving
Eid Al Fitr is known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," but it is also a celebration of zakat — the act of giving to those in need. This year, the spirit of generosity has shone brightly across our nation. From community iftars that fed thousands to humanitarian efforts reaching across borders, we have been reminded that giving is not just a duty but a privilege.
As a company rooted in the food industry, we understand that nourishment goes beyond the physical. When we share a meal, we share a moment of connection. When we ensure that no one goes hungry, we affirm the dignity inherent in every human being. This Eid, we encourage everyone to continue this spirit of generosity — whether through charitable giving, volunteering time, or simply reaching out to someone who may be alone.
Healing Through Unity
In times of difficulty, it can be tempting to turn inward, to focus only on our own concerns. But the message of Eid is one of togetherness. The word "Eid" itself means "recurring happiness" — a reminder that joy is meant to be shared and that it returns to us when we spread it to others.
We believe that healing begins when we recognize our common humanity. Regardless of where we come from, what language we speak, or what traditions we follow, we all share the same hopes: safety for our loved ones, peace in our communities, and a better future for our children. These hopes unite us far more than any differences could divide us.
This Eid, let us hold space for those who are grieving. Let us pray for peace where there is conflict. Let us extend kindness without condition. And let us remember that every act of compassion, no matter how small, sends ripples of healing into the world.
A Prayer for the Days Ahead
As we gather with family and friends to celebrate, as the aroma of festive dishes fills our homes, and as children's laughter rings out in joy, we hold in our hearts those who cannot celebrate as freely this year.
May this Eid bring comfort to the sorrowful, strength to the weary, and hope to those who have lost it. May the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood grow stronger across all communities. And may the blessings of this sacred time extend to every corner of our world where they are needed most.
